Monday, March 6 – This Is Where I’ve Been

Are you an MSMC Study Abroad Alumni? Come represent your country of study by leaving your “flag hand print” on our banner in celebration of International Education Week and find out what is happening throughout the week with our schedule of events.

International Education Week Opening Ceremony
6-6:30 pm, Kaplan Library, DC 218
Join the Office of International Programs and the Campus Ministry in the opening ceremony of International Education Week. Enjoy Spanish delicacies as you hear about the internationally recognized pilgrimage Camino de Santiago and the possibilities of study in Spain. Co-Sponsor Campus Ministry.

International Film: Finding Altamira and Q & A with Moderator Dr. Marie-Therese Sulit
6:30-9 pm, Kaplan Library, DC 218
Join the Office of International Programs and the Honors program in this critically acclaimed film about pre historic caves found in northern Spain. Discussion will follow afterwards and FYE Credit will be given. Co-Sponsor MSMC Honors Program.

Tuesday, March 7 – Where Did Study Abroad Take You?

Lights, Camera, Action - Share Your Story

Want to share your story of your time abroad? Stop by our red carpet outside of the view and share your story with our media crew. Feel like a celebrity and reminisce of your time in the Amalfi coast or the cliffs of Moher.

A Deeper Look into Faculty Led Study Abroad with MSMC-Panel Presentation
1-2:10 pm, Aquinas 216
Come here about what it is really like to study abroad in faculty led programs at the Mount. Here from our panel of professors and students on what a typical day abroad might be and the academic expectations for students. FYE Credit will be given. Co-Sponsor MSMC Study Abroad Steering Committee.

Wednesday, March 8 – 7th Annual MSMC Cultural Expo

Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony
Noon-1 pm, Outside of the View
Need to relax after all those midterms? Join us in a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony to learn of the benefits of Chinese Tea to the immune system and taste a variety of Chinese Tea.

7th Annual Cultural Expo
4-5:15 pm, MST Atrium
Join us in celebrating our annual cultural expo! Enjoy music, artifacts, food, literature and more from various countries from around the world while learning about the different locations you can study abroad with the Mount. FYE Credit will be given. Co-sponsor SGA.

Thursday, March 9 – Around the World with The GEOKnights
