New York State Constitutional Convention Vote – A Panel Discussion

This panel will discuss the 13-word ballot referendum question: “Shall there be a convention to revise the constitution and amend the same?”, which New Yorkers will decide on November 7, 2017.

Panelists will address the arguments in favor of and in opposition to a constitutional convention; the potential impact a constitutional convention could have on state and local governments; and the general history and background of the New York State Constitution and New York State’s government.

Panelists will include:

  • Jeffrey S. Kahana, JD, PhD, Associate Professor, MSMC
