Six Mount Saint Mary College professors will discuss how businesses and firms can elevate society through sustainable business practices on Tuesday, October 30 from 1 to 3 pm.
The public is invited to this free talk. Attendees are welcome to ask questions and spark discussion among the panel.
The faculty members, all from the School of Business, will be webcasting the talk for the Catholic Internet Television Network. This network is part of the Catholic Worker movement, which helps those in need to lift themselves out of poverty.
The professors on the panel are: Tracey Niemotko, chair of the School of Business and professor of Accounting; Moira Tolan, professor of Business and graduate program coordinator; Thomas Fitzmaurice, assistant professor of Finance; Michael Fox, assistant professor of Business Law and Pre-Law advisor; Veronica McMillan, assistant professor of Healthcare Management; and Anthony Scardillo, assistant professor of Marketing.
The professors first presented on the subject of sustainability at the Dominican Colloquium in Providence, R.I., in June 2018.
“We have since been utilizing it for classes and other scholarship,” noted Fox.
