As adult and graduate students, you will have the same access to student services as traditional undergraduates. See the list below for student support services available to all students.
Bishop Dunn Memorial School is an elementary school on campus where education students participate in observing and teaching. Individually guided programs in pre-kindergarten, primary, and middle levels are conducted here, as are classes for children with learning and career-related events.
Campus Ministry offers students opportunities to develop their own religious values through services, lectures, discussions, workshops, and service to others. Mass is offered daily on campus in the Chapel of the Most Holy Rosary and on Sunday at 6 pm, with other opportunities for prayer and fellowship during the week.
Campus Security and Safety is available for all students. The Mount's campus is active well into the evening. Most graduate and adult degree classes are scheduled in the evening or on the weekends, and our campus is always welcoming, well-lit, and accessible. The Campus Store is open until 8:30 pm, and sells books, supplies, food, coffee, electronics, sweatshirts, and other Mount paraphernalia. You can also shop for textbooks and Mount gear online.
The Center for Career and Experiential Education provides opportunities through counseling, career assessment, and workshops designed for all students. Resource materials in the Career Resource Library are available, and career and employment listings are maintained in the office for review. A career development portal is available to keep you abreast of employment opportunities and career-related events. The center regularly has extended hours to accomodate adult students.
The Counseling Center offers counseling to students experiencing personal problems that may be affecting their ability to succeed academically. You can learn more here.
Dining is available at any of our on-campus eateries! Options include the View dining hall, a cafe in Aquinas, the Dominican Center cafe, and Henry's Courtside Cafe. You can purchase a meal plan by visiting Student Financial Services in Aquinas or use Mount Money, cash, or credit card at all locations.
Kaplan Family Library and Learning Center is located in the Dominican Center with holdings of over 100,000 volumes. The library subscribes to more than 1,100 journals and periodicals, many of which are available in microform format. Holdings are added at the request of the faculty. Further access to information is facilitated through computerized database searches. All students are able to use campus computers and study rooms located in the library. The library also features the Curriculum Materials Center, providing students with print and multimedia resources. The library is open Monday-Thursday until midnight (2 am during midterms and finals) and also has weekend hours. Lectures and other talks are also held here, which are open to all students. Kaplan Recreation Center is available for recreational and intramural activities as well as intercollegiate sports.The facility accommodates NCAA-rated basketball and volleyball courts, an Olympic-size swimming pool, a 19,000 foot gymnasium with an elevated running track, a cardio fitness room, a weight room, an aerobics/dance room, and training facilities. Classes in yoga, Pilates, dance, and aerobics are offered on a regular basis. The gym is open to all students and weekly hours can be found here. Changes to this schedule are sent out via email.
The MBA Resource Room provides graduate business students with work space and computer facilities.
Parking is available on campus for all students. Students must register their cars and get a parking permit through the Security Office in Hudson Hall upon matriculation.
Study rooms are available throughout the Kaplan Family Library and Learning Center in the Dominican Center. Study and lounge areas are also located in Aquinas Hall and Hudson Hall to meet with friends or study in between classes.
