Karen Ulrich has been a member of the Adult Degree Completion Program team and serving adult students since 2007. She is currently the Associate Director for Adult Academic Advisement and Retention. In that capacity, Karen advises adult students majoring in Accounting, Business, and Interdisciplinary Studies. She serves on numerous academic committees and manages the Adult Degree Completion Program schedule of courses. She is the Chapter Councilor of the Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society for adult students in higher education, and is the coordinator of Prior Learning Assessment.
Before that, Karen had been a communications associate in the Office of Public Information at the Mount, where she worked from 1997 to 2007.
Karen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Saint Mary College in 2004, double majoring in public relations and integrated marketing communications; and completed a master of business administration degree at the Mount in 2006. She is a member of both the Alpha Sigma Lambda and the Delta Mu Delta honor societies recognizing adult students in continuing education and business, respectively.
Karen and her husband, Tom, live in the Town of Newburgh. Their two children also live and work in the Hudson Valley; one is a Mount alumna.
