NEWBURGH, N.Y. -
Mount students explored a variety of study abroad options on Thursday, September 13.
Traveling the bustling streets of Tokyo, feeding kangaroos by hand in Australia, and taking selfies in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa: If anyone asks Mount Saint Mary College study abroad students “What did you do during your summer vacation this year?” they’re in for a great answer.
Over the summer, dozens of Mount students enjoyed study abroad experiences in Japan, Italy, Australia, and more.
And on September 13, they learned what new international education options are in store for them at the annual Study Abroad Fair.
The Mount provides students with study opportunities in New Zealand, Ireland, France, and more. And in the summer of 2019, the Mount will host study abroad programs in London, England and Athens, Greece, which will include a variety of courses led by Mount faculty. Students can earn up to six credits in Art, Business, Criminology, English, History and Math though these faculty-led programs.
The Study Abroad Fair was sponsored by the Mount’s Career Center and the Catholic and Dominican Institute.
