Mount students learn job interview strategies from HR professional

Mount Saint Mary College students learned how to get a leg up on their next job interview at “Looked Good on Paper, But… The Art of Interviewing” on Tuesday, March 12.
 
Sean Brix, Talent Acquisition Manager at Health Quest, walked students through a variety of ways to enhance their interview techniques and take their job search to the next level.
 
Brix is a recruitment and human resources professional with more than 15 years of experience, including fields such as healthcare, financial, cable, eCommerce, digital, mobile, and social media.
 
The event was spearheaded by the Mount’s Career Center, which prepares students for varied career opportunities in the Hudson Valley, New York City, the Capital Region, and beyond. Each semester, the center hosts programs such as interview and search strategies workshops, on-and off-campus professional visits, and more to help pre-professionals explore and succeed in a variety of career paths.
