Mount students explore career and grad opportunities in science

Mount Saint Mary College students looking to get a head start on their career or their graduate studies were eager to attend the college’s Careers in the Sciences panel on February 16.

Presented by the college’s Career Center, four professionals discussed paths that Mount science majors can take after graduation.

The event featured speakers from:

  • Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MS occupational therapy and MPAS physician assistant studies)
  • MedAllies (health information service provider, electronic medical records and consulting)
  • Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MS cytotechnology and molecular cytology and MS health outcomes research)
  • University of Bridgeport MS Programs (acupuncture, Chinese herbology, traditional Chinese medicine)

The event was spearheaded by Janet Zeman, executive director of the Career Center.
