Mount students help clean up Newburgh

Approximately 50 Mount Saint Mary College students pitched in to help clean up Newburgh on Earth Day, April 22.

Students from campus groups including student senate, the men’s soccer team, and Dyson Leadership and other scholars, participated in Newburgh Community Cleanup Day, sponsored by Safe Harbors on the Hudson. Accompanied by Brianne Thompson, leadership development coach; Megan Rossi, resident director; and Kevin Longacre, men’s soccer coach, the Mount students walked through downtown Newburgh picking up trash, beautifying the area.
