Convocation 2016

Investing our new students

Mount Saint Mary College will recognize the newest members of its academic community at the 59th Annual Academic Convocation on Thursday, August 30.

The Convocation ceremony will welcome hundreds of freshmen and transfer students into the Mount’s academic programs and celebrate their first week of study at the college. Freshmen and transfer students will be greeted by Mount Saint Mary College president Dr. Jason Adsit, as well as faculty, alumni, and student leaders.

The event will afford new students the opportunity to become better acquainted with the expectations, values, and benefits of their Mount education.

A reception and light refreshments will follow immediately after the ceremony.

This is a mandatory FYE event for freshmen.
