MSMC Seniors: You're invited to Senior Send-Off: May 13-14,
Registration for Senior Send-Off opens on Tuesday, April
14 at 4 pm. The link for online registration will be sent
to your MSMC email address. Seniors are not permitted to sign up
anyone other than themselves for the activities. In order to sign
up for Senior Send-Off activities, you must have a valid MSMC ID
and be eligible for graduation. Senior Send-Off activities are for
graduates only; guests are not permitted at events or in the

only to the Student Activities and SGA portion of Senior Send-Off;
it does not include Commencement activities. A separate schedule
for Commencement weekend (Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16) can
be accessed at www.msmc.edu/commencement2015. These
events are sponsored by the College and information will be
distributed by the ceremonial chairs.
Who can attend the Senior Send-Off student activities
sponsored by SGA?
December '14, May '15, or August '15 graduating seniors may
participate in SGA-sponsored student activities on Wednesday, May
13 and Thursday, May 14.
Requirements for Senior Send-Off:
- Only students who were residents during the periods listed
above are permitted to reside in Senior Week housing on Wednesday,
May 13-Saturday, May 16.
- Housing for commuter students is available for $50, based on
availability. Further information will be provided by the Office of
- As per the normal process, all resident students will be
required to vacate their current rooms, turning in all keys 24
hours after their last academic commitment. The residence halls
close on Tuesday, May 12 at 2 pm.
- There will be no campus housing available until Wednesday, May
13. You may pick-up your keys for Senior Send-off on Wednesday, May
13, from the Residence Life Office from 3-5 pm in the Dominican
- Complete information will be available from the Residence Life
Office in April. Remember: you must sign up with the Office of
Residence Life if you would like to secure a residence space.
- Specific guest/visitor information will be outlined in the
communication sent from the Residence Life Office.
- If you choose to stay on campus during Senior Send-Off, you
must participate in activities scheduled.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 13
3-5 pm: Check In with Residence Life in the Dominican Center
7-10 pm: Senior Cocktail Party on the Dominican Center
Cash bar, full dinner and entertainment provided.

THURSDAY, MAY 14
11 am-1 pm: Life After College Brunch: Dominican Center Café,
1:30 pm: Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal, Aquinas Theatre
Commencement rehearsal is required in order to participate in
4-5 pm: Dinner in the Hudson Auditorium
6-9 pm: Boat Cruise on the Hudson
Buses will be leaving from the Hudson Hall parking lot at 5:30 pm.
There will only be one bus trip to the boat dock. All participants
must have a valid state ID on them to get on the boat. Buses will
return back to MSMC immediately following the cruise. If you
register for the boat cruise, but then change your mind or become
unable to attend, please notify the Student Activities Staff so
that we can notify a student on the wait list.
Please continue checking your MSMC email for important
information, event schedules, and details pertaining to Senior
Send-Off housing in the coming weeks.
- The View, Henry's Courtside Café, and Jazzman's Café will be
closed during Senior Send-Off. The Dominican Center Café will be
open Wednesday-Friday, 8:30 am-2:30 pm. Meal plans will have
concluded at this point; however, Mount Money, cash, or credit
cards will be accepted.
- Any individual that is subject to disciplinary action near or
during Senior Send-Off may be restricted from attending Senior
Send-Off events and/or from the housing privileges.
- Students are still responsible for adhering to the Student Code
of Conduct during Senior Send-Off.
