Mount Saint Mary College will host its second annual “Take Back the Night” march on Wednesday, September 27 at 7 pm. The march will start on the Dominican Center hill (front stairs) and will culminate with a candlelit march around campus. Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate!
“Take Back the Night” is a nationally recognized program facilitated on college campuses as a sign of support for victims of sexual violence. The mission of our event is to raise campus awareness surrounding the issue of sexual violence and to join together to end sexual violence in our community and on college campuses, nationwide.
This year's keynote speaker is Brenda Tracy, nurse, mother, activist, and survivor.
