Here, you will find that there is always something thrilling going on somewhere, and if you turn the right corner, you could be a part of it! There is always a new restaurant to try, history and art museum to go to, hip band to check out, sports team to cheer on, and live show to see. With easy access to mountains and beaches, like the famous Bondi and Manly beaches, you will also have the opportunity to take advantage of the city's abundant natural beauty. Next, travel to Australia’s capital, Canberra and hear the city hum with the buzz of national politics during parliamentary sitting weeks. Finish of in the Sunshine State, the city of Brisbane that boasts blockbuster exhibitions, street art, edgy boutiques, and Australia’s largest public gallery of modern art! 

2017 Study Abroad

When: May 26-June 22, 2018

Courses: Students will take two courses and receive 6 MSMC credits toward graduation. Courses will focus on Healthcare Management, Business, and Sports Management.

Gender Equity in Sports – Australia vs. USA with Scott Russell

Cost: Approximate costs are $6,700, which includes tuition and fees, airfare, orientation, resident staff, housing, excursions, cultural activities, and comprehensive medical insurance. Food, books, spending money, and other travel expenses are not included. Federal financial aid for summer study abroad is available.

Immersion Opportunities: Sydney Opera House Tour, Botanic Gardens, Harbour Bridge Walk, Luna Park, Walking Tour of the Rocks, Blue Mountains Aboriginal Hiking Tour, Rugby Match, Loane Park Koala Sanctuary, and plenty more! 

Facilities: Students will take courses with MSMC faculty at ISA designated facilities and will stay in shared rooms in local hostels with MSMC students.
