Visions for a Successful Semester

Had a great first semester and want to keep that momentum going? Didn’t perform quite as well as you had hoped last semester and want to get on track? Through guided reflection and the use of vision boards, you will be able to identify areas of improvement and envision the steps required to make the spring a great semester!

Stress 101
Tuesday, February 6, 4-5 pm and 7-8 pm, DC 110
It is often hard for college students to identify how they are feeling, especially during busy times in the semester. At this program Counseling Services and The Office of Student Success will help you learn a little more about the stress in your life, why it occurs, ways to cope with it, and the resources on campus that are here to assist you.

What is Advocacy?
Thursday, February 22, 4-5 pm, AQU 216
Knowing what you need to be successful and being able to say it to the people who need to hear it can be challenging for any student. During this interactive program, you will develop new skills to help you determine your wants and needs and learn how to ask for and get what you need to excel at the Mount and beyond!

Self Care with the Coaches
Tuesday, March 6, 4-5 pm, AQU 100
Stop into AQU 100 for a little midterm study break and de-stress with the Academic Coaches! Grab a snack, play a board game, color a picture, and learn how to take care of yourself while studying for exams!

Benefits of Summer Classes
Tuesday, April 3, 4-5 pm and Thursday, April 12, 7-8 pm, AQU 100
Have you thought about taking a summer course to get ahead or catch up with classes? Don't have any idea where to start? The Academic Coaches are here to walk you through it! We will give you a step-by-step guide to getting your summer course approved. We will also take you through the advisement process again because let's be honest, a little refresher couldn’t hurt!

Freshman Finale

Join the Office of Student Success, Residence Life, and Student Activities as we celebrate the end of your first year of college! Grab some food, listen to music, spend time with your friends and enjoy your last few days of freshman year.
