Mount Saint Mary College offers a convenient Monthly Payment Plan (MPP) to help you pay each fall and spring semester’s educational expenses in five monthly installments, interest-free.

General Information
 

  • Enrollment is required each fall and spring semester you participate in the MPP.
  • A $30.00 enrollment fee is due each semester you enroll.
  • Enrollment for the fall Monthly Payment Plan opens June 15, with the first installment due July 15, and the last installment due November 15. The final date to enroll in the fall MPP is September 14.
  • Enrollment for the spring Monthly Payment Plan opens December 1, with the first installment due December 15, and the last installment is due April 15. The final date to enroll in the spring MPP is February 14.

How do I enroll in the Monthly Payment Plan (MPP)?
Enrollment in the MPP is easy! Simply visit portal.msmc.edu, log in, select the Student Accounts tab, and click on Enroll in the MPP. For detailed instructions, you may review the MPP Enrollment Guide.

What is a Parent Pin?
A Parent Pin is a unique login/password, created by the student, which permits an authorized user(s) to access the Monthly Payment Plan Parent Access site.

How can I create a Parent Pin?
Students may create a Parent Pin through the MPP. Just visit portal.msmc.edu, log in, select the Student Accounts tab, and click on Enroll in the MPP. Below Parent or Guardian Pins, select Add New, and enter the authorized user’s information in the required fields. Once established, the authorized user(s) will receive a welcome email with a temporary password to complete the pin’s setup.

How can I reset a Parent Pin Password?
Students may reset a Parent Pin Password through the MPP. Just visit portal.msmc.edu, log in, select the Student Accounts tab, and click on Enroll in the MPP. Below Parent or Guardian Pins, select Edit, then Reset Password. The authorized user will receive an email with temporary login information to update their password.

How many installment payments is my MPP?
Enrollment prior to the first installment’s due date will result in five MPP payments. However, your MPP installments decrease each month registration is delayed (e.g. the first installment for the fall MPP is due July 15, registration in August results in a 4-month plan).

How is my MPP balance determined?
Your MPP balance is determined using the following formula: Tuition and Fees Balance less Anticipated Financial Aid and/or Awards.

(Tuition & Fees) – (Anticipated Financial Aid and Awards) = MPP Balance

What happens if my student account balance changes?
If your Student Account balance changes during the semester, the MPP will automatically re-calculate the remaining monthly payments (e.g. new tuition charges applied to the account or additional aid received).

How can I make payment to the MPP?
You may process payment to the MPP using a credit card (Visa, Discover, MasterCard) or e-check. Just visit portal.msmc.edu, log in, select the Student Accounts tab, and click on Make an MPP Payment.

Will I receive payment reminders?
The MPP provides email notification of your next installment due date, payment confirmation, and late/missed payments.

What happens if my MPP installment is late?
You student bill is subject to a $40 late fee if MPP payments are not received by the 15th of each month.

What happens if I miss multiple MPP installments?
Multiple missed installment payments result in withdrawal from MPP. If you are withdrawn from the MPP, your student account balance is due in full, and you are subject to the standard late payment fee up to $200.
