The Saint John's Bible: Work of God and Work of Art

For more than 800 years, the Order of Preachers, more commonly known as the Dominicans, has passionately preached the Good News in both word and deed. The founder of the order, Saint Dominic de Guzman, dedicated his life to the sacred preaching and was said to have had a special fondness for the Gospel of Saint Matthew.

The Saint John’s Bible is a modern artistic masterpiece which celebrates the Hebrew and Christian scriptures through beautiful calligraphy and original works of art. Mount Saint Mary College is the proud owner of one of 200 limited copies of the Heritage Edition of the Saint John’s Bible.
