The Curriculum Materials Center (CMC) is a one-stop source supporting the Mount's undergraduate and graduate education programs.
The CMC offers Pre-K-12 pre-service teachers the resources needed to complete their coursework in education. Our collection consists of educational materials such as textbooks, kits, manipulatives, children’s literature, young adult literature, Spanish language materials, New York State Standards, specialized software like Boardmaker, assessment tests, and achievement tests. Academic subject areas covered include mathematics, science, social studies, English language arts, Spanish, and health. Detailed information about CMC resources.
We offer a Presentation Practice Room complete with a SMARTBoard, collaborative learning areas, and computer access. More information on library study rooms.
In addition, the CMC provides access to equipment such as laminator, paper cutter, die cutter, and comb-binder to assist in the creation of classroom materials. Information about using CMC equipment.
The CMC is located on the 1st floor of the Kaplan Family Library, past the Information Desk and through the wooden doors.
