MSMC Library Week, February 6-10, 2017
How would you handle an attempt to ban a book in your school or
library? Theresa Yost, School Media Specialist in Lounsberry Hollow
Middle School and Mary Ann Politi, former Administrator &
School Librarian at Wappingers Central School District will
discuss real-life book challenges posed by parents and how
they were resolved. Take part in a candid conversation and learn
more about banned and challenged books.

Co-sponsored by the MSMC Class of 2019 & the Literary
Society, an SGA organization, Censorship in the Library
& Classroom will take place February 6th at 6 p.m. in the
Kaplan Library, Room 218. This event has been approved for Academic
Success FYE credit, but students at all levels are welcome. The
event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be
served. We hope to see you there!
