Faculty Research Assistance
Kaplan Family Library offers research assistance to both full-time and part-time faculty at the Mount. Possible tasks include finding and summarizing articles, creating a bibliography of relevant sources on a topic, organizing citations, and other activities.
Authors' Mentoring & Support Network
Would you like to talk with a trusted colleague about challenges you're facing in the academic publishing process? Check out the Authors' Mentoring & Support Network (AMSN) to connect with other MSMC faculty who are willing to share their experiences and advice. The AMSN site lists the research interests of many Mount faculty in order to facilitate collaboration, especially across disciplines. The site also links to services, books, and articles that shed light on the world of academic publishing.

Ask A Librarian / Liaison Librarians
Library faculty are happy to assist faculty members across the campus with questions about library resources and services. Each librarian is designated as a liaison to a division/school or group of academic programs. Liaison librarians select library resources and teach most of the information literacy classes in these disciplines. Don't hesitate to reach out to your liaison whenever you have a question.

Library Spaces for Faculty
The library collects the publications produced by Mount faculty, administrators, staff, and alumni. This includes books, chapters, articles, reference book entries, stories, poems, essays, columns, and published conference proceedings. Visit the Mount Saint Mary College Authors website to see what's been published by members of the Mount community. Books and chapters can also be found in the library catalog.
Keep us apprised of your publications by contacting Vivian Milczarski, Collection Development Librarian, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 845-569-3523.
Please note that presentation materials, unpublished conference proceedings, dissertations, blogs, etc. are best represented on a faculty member's profile page and are not included in MSMC Authors.
