Mission
The mission of the Mount Saint Mary College Archives is to collect, document, process, preserve and make available to interested researchers and parties the history of the College, in keeping with the Dominican tradition of education.

Collection Policy
Researchers are required to complete a release form to use the archives.  These forms are available upon request.  Generally, materials do not circulate and access to certain materials in the Administration and Faculty, Students, and Alumni collections may be restricted.  Reproductions of materials will be completed by the library staff at the researcher's expense if the condition of the originals will permit such reproduction.  Scanning of selected materials will be considered on an individual basis. No food or drinks are permitted in the area provided for the researcher involved with the archives. The researcher must not change the order in which the documents were found.  The researcher is also responsible to obtain any necessary copyright permissions where appropriate.

Archival Collections
The Archival Collections include college finding aids, digital collections, Dominican Sisters of Newburgh Archives, Dominican Heritage Lecture Series, Oral History Project, and photo collections showing the construction of buildings at Mount Saint Mary College.
