NYS residents are required to download the free Excelsior Pass App Wallet on their phone through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store OR access it via computer at https://epass.ny.gov/home. Utilizing the Excelsior Pass allows college Health Services and Security staff to have an efficient way of ensuring that everyone has met COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements so that our Commencement will be a safe activity for all. Please download the app, input your information, and review your pass now if you were vaccinated so that if there are any mistakes, they can be worked out well in advance of the event. Your pass can be saved in the app (NYS Wallet) now and shown at any time. Please understand that as per NYS Department of Health requirements, there will be absolutely NO exceptions to these requirements.
All Out-of-State graduates/guests will need to present the original CDC vaccination card or a printed copy (PDF format – not a screen shot) of their COVID-19 test results as they enter the campus.
**We recommend that everyone have their original CDC vaccination card or a printed copy of their COVID-19 test results with them upon arrival to the campus, in case there are any technical difficulties. We do not want anyone to miss these events!

REMEMBER to bring your:
Please also remember that the event will be held rain or shine. Graduates will be supplied with ponchos if it is raining but guests may want to bring umbrellas. The field is grass so it is important that everyone wear appropriate footwear and avoid high heels.
At the end of the ceremony we will need to have everyone leave by row in an orderly fashion and go directly to your cars to maintain social distancing. We also ask that everyone leave campus immediately following the ceremony.
Registered graduates will have received an email confirming your arrival time on campus. Please plan accordingly and arrive at your assigned time, as we need to stagger graduate arrival times in order to get graduates and guests checked in at the main entrance without causing an extensive backup of traffic on Powell Avenue. The MSMC staff is working hard to assure that this is a safe and enjoyable event for all involved, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we celebrate our Seniors!
