Adoration of THE Blessed Sacrament: Its History and Place in the Spiritual Life

Thursday, March 21, 2024 | Whittaker Hall |  4:00 p.m.

Speaker: Robert Miller, Ph.D.

Dr. Miller is a Senior Fellow of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology and a former board member for the Ecumenical Society of the Blessed Virgin Mary - USA. His doctoral dissertation “Ti emoi kai soi: John 2:4a, Rebuke or Expression of Mutual Concern,” is a philological and contextual study of the Hebrew idiom with which Jesus responds to his mother at the wedding at Cana.

Dr. Miller’s research spans a wide area of theology and biblical studies including biblical theology and typology, John’s Gospel, and Mariology. He is also active in his parish and coordinated the RCIA process and offering other adult enrichment opportunities.

These lectures are in honor of Sr. Peggy Murphy, whose talent and love for others allowed her to take the principles of Catholic Theology and make them understandable and apply them to real life situations.
