Join us for a special presentation from Mount alum, Justin Sangeorge, LMSW as he shares his experience working with those trying to overcome substance abuse and related issues.

Speaker: Justin Sangeorge, LMSW 

A Social Worker for the past 14 years, Sangeorge is the Clinical Director of a Behavioral Health Outpatient clinic. He received his master’s In Social Work in from Stony Brook University’s School of Social Welfare and his bachelor’s from Mount Saint Mary College. Since beginning his career as a Social Worker, he has helped people who experience various challenges with substance use, mental health, homelessness, incarceration, trauma, abuse, etc. He has worked with different modalities such as outpatient treatment, residential treatment, inpatient treatment, and the shelter system. Sangeorge’s work has extended into the community — with elected officials, state and city organizations, and community-based organizations which all work together to assist local communities.
