Mount Saint Mary College is hosting two weekend tour events, at which students can receive an instant admissions decision, on Sunday, January 28 and Saturday, February 17.
The events will start at 10 a.m. on their respective days. The Mount is located at 330 Powell Ave., Newburgh, N.Y.

Prospective students and their families will connect with current students and tour the college’s residence halls, academic buildings, and more.
Students can also get an instant decision if they apply to the Mount online at least 24 hours prior to their campus visit and bring their official high school/college transcripts in a sealed envelope. A Mount counselor will evaluate the student’s credits and offer an admissions decision before the end of the event. Apply at www.msmc.edu/apply
The college is offering several exciting new programs for incoming students, including:
- Philosophy major: Philosophy majors will investigate the core areas of metaphysics (the study of reality), epistemology (the study of knowledge), ethics, and logic before furthering their studies through advanced courses in one of several defined tracks.
- Theology and Religious Studies major: Students will put into conversation varying topics of scripture, systematics, and spirituality, allowing them to take part in experiential learning: opportunities outside the classroom that include service experience, internships, and retreats.
- Master of Science in Nursing Education: Nurse educators are in demand, and a Master of Science in Nursing Education will help you grow your skills as both a nurse and an educator. If you’re looking to advance your career and help teach the next generation of nurses in either an academic or healthcare setting, getting a Master of Science in Nursing Education is the way to do it.
