Student account statements for each semester are available online at under the Student Accounts tab. There, you will find your bill for the upcoming semester. Payment is due one week prior to the start of the semester.

Your bill can be paid online through Transact Payments or you may send a check or money order to the Student Financial Services office. You can also elect to participate in our interest-free monthly payment plan.

Paying online

Students can pay their bills on the MSMC portal at and parents or guardians can pay student bills here, using a parent pin created by the student. To create a parent pin, students must go to the Student Accounts tab on the MSMC portal, access Transact SmartPay, and add a new parent or guardian pin with the authorized user’s information.

ACH (eCheck), credit, and debit card payments on your student account are processed by Transact SmartPay, a third party merchant. Student Financial Services does not process card payments for tuition and fees over the phone. With Transact SmartPay, you can pay with your bank account, American Express, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.

Transact SmartPay charges a service fee of 2.85% (fee increase from 2.75% to 2.85% effective as of 7.5.23) for payments made using a credit or debit card to cover the cost of processing. Service fees are non-refundable. There is no service fee applied to ACH (eCheck) payments.  

Paying by check or money order

Please make checks payable to Mount Saint Mary College or MSMC. Be sure to include the student’s name and ID number in the memo field to ensure correct payment processing. Payments can be mailed to:
