Joan Miller

Joan Miller taught prospective and practicing special educators for over 30 years. She conducted extensive professional development in urban and suburban settings. Her interests include strategy instruction, content enhancement to support students with learning problems in the general classroom, literacy in the content areas, response to intervention, and curriculum-based measurement. Prior to her service as a faculty member of the Mount, Joan also had experience with the college as a student, graduating in 1969.
