Community members, runners, and supporters of healthcare education will gather on Sunday, October 25, for the annual Cheryl WALKorRUN 5K, hosted at the Storm King Engine Company in Cornwall-on-Hudson.
The annual event is held in memory of Mount Saint Mary College alumna and faculty member Cheryl Walker. It brings together athletes, families, and friends to raise vital funds for the Cheryl L. Walker Nursing Scholarship at the college, awarded annually to a student enrolled in the college’s Nursing baccalaureate RN program.
Check-in and on-site registration begin at 7:30 a.m., with the official 5K run and walk kicking off at 9:00 a.m. Open to participants of all ages and fitness levels, the race course winds through the scenic streets of Cornwall-on-Hudson.

In addition to the 5K, the family-friendly event features a kids' fun run, live music, a complimentary breakfast for participants, and an awards ceremony following the race.
