The Block Party is a long-standing tradition at the Mount, organized by the SGA to offer co-curricular activities at low or no cost to undergraduate students. In addition to the attractions, students enjoyed refreshments from local food trucks and received commemorative free T-shirts.
From carnival rides to county fair vibes, Mount Saint Mary College students gathered on April 17 for a day of celebration at the annual Student Government Association (SGA) Block Party.
Held in the Sakac Hall parking lot, the event provided the campus community with an opportunity to celebrate and de-stress as the academic year nears its conclusion.
The afternoon’s entertainment began with a live performance by the Ryan Townsend Live Band, followed by a set from DJ AKR. Throughout the day, attendees engaged in a variety of high-energy activities, including a bumper car arena, a dunk tank, and various carnival games. The event also featured a photo booth, face painting, and a pie-eating contest.
