Mount Saint Mary College’s Center for Academic and Career Services (CACS) and about two dozen local healthcare recruiters joined forces earlier this month to bring students job and internship opportunities.
The Nursing and Healthcare Career Fair is an annual event dedicated to fostering the next generation of healthcare providers. By connecting students with top-tier medical facilities and staffing experts, the fair ensures a steady pipeline of talent for the region’s most critical healthcare needs.
The event featured prominent regional employers, including Garnet Health Medical Center, Hudson Valley Hospice, and EGA Associates.
The fair offered a diverse array of part-time and full-time employment opportunities, as well as internships tailored for those still completing their certifications. Recruiters from various specialties, including elder care and veteran-owned staffing firms, were on hand to discuss the specific requirements.
The Mount’s CACS is often cited by Mount graduates for its powerful and practical tools to help shape their post-graduate portfolios.
