Mount Saint Mary College faculty and staff gather on stage to be recognized for their long-term dedication to the college. Honorees celebrated milestones ranging from five to 50 years of service.
At a recent holiday celebration for faculty and staff, Mount Saint Mary College honored dozens of longtime personnel for their dedicated service to the college and the community.
The longest-serving employee who reached a milestone in 2025 was Thomas Sarro, professor of Biology in the Division of Natural Sciences. Sarro, a staple of the Mount’s academic community, was celebrated for an incredible 50 years of service to the college.
Also recognized for three-and-a-half decades of dedication was Theresa Egger from the Division of Education, who celebrated her 35-year milestone.
The college also honored Ed Teall (Division of Humanities) for 30 years of service.
Employees of Bishop Dunn Memorial School (BDMS) were also recognized for their milestones. Bishop Dunn, a K-8 school, is located on the Mount campus and maintains a close partnership with the college’s education program.
