Mount Saint Mary College students, employees, and alumni contributed to a blood drive in the Fluet Family Auditorium at Hudson Hall on October 5 and 6.
According to Thomas Coyne of Staten Island, N.Y, president of the Student Nurses Association of Mount Saint Mary College, the drive resulted in 85 pints of blood collected.
Each semester the Mount community donates to the blood drive. The college's Student Nurses Association planned the event and were among those assisting, along with medical professionals from the New York Blood Center.
