Mount Saint Mary College hosted a lively pop-up petting zoo for students and faculty on Wednesday, April 29.
Held on the lawn near Hudson Hall, the event provided a unique opportunity for the campus community to interact with a variety of farm animals in an open, relaxed environment.
The athletic fields and courtyards were occupied by an array of friendly visitors, including goats, a dairy cow, a heritage turkey, and several dozen newly hatched chicks. Students enjoyed taking a break from their busy academic schedules to pet the animals, take selfies, and learn about the different species from on-site handlers.
The pop-up petting zoo is part of the college's ongoing commitment to student well-being and community building. By providing diverse and engaging activities, Mount Saint Mary College continues to foster a supportive environment for its student body.
