Mount Saint Mary College Magazine is now offering a new digital format with expanded content.
Starting with the latest issue, Summer 2023, the free publication can be found at www.Mountsaintmarycollegemagazine.com or www.msmc.edu/Magazine
In this format, there are still stories about the college’s service-minded students, dedicated faculty, and commitment to the community. But now, readers will enjoy more in-depth articles and multimedia content like embedded videos and larger photo galleries that would not fit in the print publication.
“We’re very excited to watch the magazine grow on this new platform and we think you will be too,” noted Dr. Jason N. Adsit, president of the college.
The Summer 2023 issue features Mount professors traveling around the world, from Antarctica to Italy; stories of how alumni met and fell in love on campus; how the college is making a difference at Shawangunk Correctional Facility through the efforts of the Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison program; and more.
One can also read about the grand opening of the newly-renovated Guzman Hall, which houses the Desmond Center for Community Engagement. The Desmond Center offers free events, wellness classes, and educational opportunities to the Newburgh community and the surrounding areas. In its new home, the center can host more and larger events.
