Mount Saint Mary College has been recognized as one of Money’s Best Colleges in America for 2026, an honor that highlights institutions that combine quality education with affordability and successful student outcomes. The recognition places Mount Saint Mary College among the country’s top schools.
“We are incredibly proud to be recognized by Money for the value we provide our students,” said Evan Merkhofer, Vice President for Academic Affairs at the Mount. “This recognition is a testament to our dedicated faculty and staff, who work tirelessly to ensure our students not only receive an exceptional education, but are also well-prepared for meaningful careers and lives of service after graduation.”
Money’s analysis evaluates four-year institutions across three primary categories: Quality of Education, Affordability, and Student Outcomes. The methodology factors in graduation rates, alumni earnings, and financial aid availability.
According to Money’s profile, 99 percent of Mount undergraduates receive grant aid, and recent graduates go on to achieve a median salary of $71,264, with 83 percent out-earning high school graduates.
The Mount’s inclusion on this list comes amid strong institutional momentum. In Fall 2026, the college welcomed its largest freshman class in four years, driving a 29 percent increase in first-year enrollment and contributing to an overall student body of more than 1,400 traditional undergraduate and graduate students.
The Mount continues to pair small class sizes and personalized faculty attention with career-focused programs to prepare students for success in today’s workforce.
