Mount Saint Mary College's iROC symposium, 2019

Mount Saint Mary College students of all majors will showcase a semester’s worth of research on Thursday, May 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. 

The Investigating Research on Campus (iROC) student symposium will take place on campus, 330 Powell Ave., Newburgh, N.Y. It is free and open to the public. 

Students will share research from many disciplines, including Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and more. 

The goal of the iROC series is to provide a forum for Mount faculty, staff, and students to showcase their research endeavors with both Mount Saint Mary College and the local community, notes iROC coordinator Evan Merkhofer, associate professor of Biology. Presentations include research proposals, initial data collection, and completed research projects.
