More than a dozen Mount Saint Mary College students celebrated their achievements this semester in the college’s PACT (Persist, Achieve, Connect, Thrive) program.

Spearheaded by the college’s Office of Disability Services, the PACT Program helps students with anxiety and related disorders to develop skills and confidence.

The sessions this semester focused on managing college life, relationships, balancing academics, and more. The students acted out scenarios, participated in team building activities, and other group activities.

By creating personal connections and building coping skills, the program provides support for students with anxiety and enables them to fully participate in, succeed in, and enjoy the benefits of higher education. The Office of Disability Services also offers a PACT Athlete program, targeting how performance in sports can impact student athletes’ anxiety.
