The film was a collaboration between Public Relations majors and Production majors through the college's CADM program as their capstone project.

MSMC Under Quarantine details the ins and outs of college life during the current pandemic, featuring the viewpoints of students, faculty, and administrators. Hear how professors quickly made the leap from in-person classes to virtual ones, how students adapted to the new normal, and how Mount President Dr. Jason N. Adsit navigated the challenges of keeping the Mount community safe during this unprecedented time.

The project "has been a great opportunity to get hands-on experience and build the students' portfolios," said Dean Goldberg, professor of Digital Media and Film Studies and director of the Communication, Art, and Digital Media program. Goldberg is overseeing the film's production.

The Mount's Communication, Art, and Digital Media program encompasses the study of journalism, video production, advertising, public relations, art, design, and film studies at the college. Housed in the Mount's Division of Arts and Letters, the program prepares students for both traditional and emerging professions.
