Bringing a dose of joy to those who need it most, the Mount Saint Mary College Student Nurses’ Association (SNA) led a campus-wide effort to brighten Valentine’s Day for young patients at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Westchester, N.Y. on Tuesday, February 10.

The annual card-making event brought together Nursing students and the wider Mount community to hand-craft personalized messages of encouragement. This collaboration highlighted the college’s commitment to service, providing students with a meaningful opportunity to connect with the healthcare community outside the clinical setting.

Following the event, the cards were delivered to the hospital, ensuring that the young patients felt the support and care of the Knight community.

The Student Nursing Association remains a cornerstone of the Mount’s outreach, frequently leading initiatives that bridge the gap between academic training and community service.
