Two employees from Mount Saint Mary College’s Digital Learning and Instructional Design Services (DLIDS) recently discussed their personal pathways to career success with the students of Cornwall Central High School.

Visiting the school were Kayla Gori, director of DLIDS, and William Biersack, instructional designer of DLIDS. Both are also adjunct instructors of Mathematics and Information Technology at the college and Biersack is also an adjunct with the Mount’s Education department.

“We were there to talk about our personal pathways to finding a career that we are passionate about and discuss the different industries through which you can start a career in instructional design,” Gori explained. “It was refreshing for both of us to go out into the community and share about this growing field with young adults and talk to them about how we serve at the Mount."
