Mount Saint Mary College recently welcomed three new members to its Board of Trustees.
Joining the board recently were Valerie Bryant MBA ’99, Bill Fioravanti, and Beth Jennings.
Valerie Bryant, a 1999 alumna of Mount Saint Mary College, is Pricing Manager at BGRS, a global leader in relocation and moving services for the employee mobility industry. Having worked in this role for 23 years, she is responsible for the pricing strategy, analysis, and preparation of pricing proposals, and has delivered key financial support through analysis and collaboration. In addition to earning an MBA from the Mount, Bryant also earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Marymount Manhattan College. She has also been a board member for several organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, Kiwanis of Newburgh, and the Newburgh Armory Unity Center.
Bill Fioravanti is Orange County’s Director of Economic Development, reporting directly to County Executive Steve Neuhaus. Having worked in economic development in Orange County for 10 years, Fioravanti has also served as Vice President of Membership for the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and Director of Business Attraction for the Orange County Partnership. He is also a committed community volunteer. He co-chairs the City of Newburgh’s Strategic Economic Development Committee (SEDAC), is a board member for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, and currently leads the fundraising efforts for the Newburgh Illuminated Festival. Fioravanti graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor’s in Management, and is currently pursuing a master’s in Community & Economic Development at SUNY Empire State College.
Beth Jennings is a manager and accountant at RBT CPA’s, LLP, the largest CPA firm in the Hudson Valley. Having been with the company for 27 years, Jennings strives to assist clients in growing their business and achieving their goals. She graduated from Siena College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting and took part in the Leadership Dutchess Program in 2000. In addition to other service activities, Jennings sits on the Board of Directors at the National Purple Heart Honor Mission, Inc. and is on the Finance Committee at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center, Inc.
