A group of dedicated Mount Saint Mary College students recently strengthened their faiths by receiving Sacraments at the Chapel of the Most Holy Rosary on campus.
The Sacraments included Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.
The Most Rev. Dominick J. Lagonegro celebrated the Mass with Fr. Gregoire Fluet, Vice President for Mission and Ministry at the Mount.
“It’s always a joy for me to offer the Sacraments and witness wonderful students continuing their spiritual journey,” said Fr. Fluet.
The confirmed students stood before their family, friends, and the college community to affirm their faith and commitment to their Catholic beliefs. Receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation were: Melissa Diaz, Kaelyn Donoghue, Ayleen Morales, Leandro Ortiz, Brayden Rappa, and Lauren Tavarez.
Receiving the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation was Salvador Serrano.
Receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation were Raven Brake, Christopher Murolo, and Joseph Patierno.
Brake’s son Nicholai, a student at Bishop Dunn Memorial School on the Mount’s campus, was also Baptized and looks forward to First Holy Communion. Brake’s husband, Daniel, received First Holy Communion.
