Ready to choose the Mount?

Let's make it official! Submit your deposit by June 1st to secure your place as a Mount Saint Mary College Knight!

You're in! What's next?

Here’s what you can expect over the next few months:

  • If you have not already, please file your FAFSA. Completing your FAFSA is a critical step in the process of becoming a Knight, and we'll use that information to develop your financial aid package. Make sure to add the Mount’s school code: 002778 to your FAFSA.
  • Register to attend Accepted Student Day in April, where you’ll meet your classmates and professors, get to know campus, learn about extracurriculars, and more!
  • You’re probably starting to narrow down your college choices. If you decide the Mount is the one, be sure to pay your admissions deposit online in your Accepted Student Portal.
  • Keep an eye out for an email regarding registration for summer Orientation.

  • Accepted Student Day 1 and 2 are this month. Don't forget to register!
  • You will receive your financial aid package from each college you are accepted to and submitted a FAFSA for. Need clarification about something in your financial aid package or have last-minute financing questions? You can set up an appointment with Student Financial Services!
  • Can't attend Accepted Student Day? We are offering special Accepted Student Tours on select Mondays, so you can take one last look around before making your decision. Sign up here
  • If the Mount is the college for you, we encourage you to submit your deposit by June 1. If you need an extension, please contact Admissions at admissions@msmc.edu.

Due to delays with the 2024 FAFSA, the deposit deadline has been extended from May 1 to June 1, giving you more time to decide if the Mount is right for you.

  • If you plan to live on campus, watch your email for information on the Housing Application that is due by Friday, July 5.
  • If you have paid your deposit, don't forget to register for summer Orientation.
  • If you are a student with a disability and require accommodations, be sure to submit all necessary paperwork to the Office of Disability Services.

  • Pay your deposit by June 1 to secure your place as a Mount Saint Mary College Knight!
  • Housing applications are due next month. If you plan to live on campus, fill it out by July 5, 2024.
  • Don't forget to register for New Student Orientation.
  • Upon completing your high school degree, ask your high school counselor to send your official high school transcripts to the Mount. Final transcripts must be submitted to the Mount prior to August 1 in order for financial aid funds to be dispersed.
  • Your tuition bill for the fall semester will be available via the Accepted Student Portal this month. Loan applications can now also be completed at www.studentloans.gov. Monthly Payment Plan enrollment also begins on June 15, with the first bill due July 15.
  • Watch your email and the Accepted Student Portal for new student health forms, which must be submitted to the Office of Health Services by August 1.

  • The housing application will be due by Friday, July 5, 2024. Your application is used to create roommate pairings, so please fill out the form yourself and answer questions accurately. If you are requesting a specific person as your roommate, you must create a roommate group before Friday, July 5.
  • If you took any college courses or AP exams, make sure to request official transcripts from the awarding college or the College Board to be sent to the Mount.
  • For those enrolled in the Monthly Payment Plan, the first payment is due July 15.
  • Be sure to complete your Title IX training this month. The training can be accessed from the Accepted Student Portal.
  • If you haven’t already submitted them, health forms are due to the Office of Health Services by August 1.

  • Housing assignments for resident students will be sent early this month.
  • Get into the habit of checking your MSMC email. It can be accessed from portal.msmc.edu, then the Google email icon at the top. You’ll probably already have some emails about upcoming fall events.
  • In the middle of this month, you’ll be sent a very important email to validate, or confirm, your fall enrollment. Please be sure to open and follow the instructions in it!
  • Order your textbooks for the fall semester on the campus bookstore site.
  • Get ready for Move-In Day and the first day of classes! View our list of What to Bring to be sure you’re prepared.
