Being a team player starts with understanding the psychological principles behind performance and well-being in athletes, and other sports participants, at all levels. 

The sound of a whistle brings you right back to the game you love. The smell of hot dogs floods your brain with memories of going to games with family. Now, you want to be a part of creating those opportunities for others by making a career out of your passion for sports. Like any other industry, sports is a business and needs managing. The study of Sports Management allows you to combine your passion for sports and athletics with the operational and management experience needed to help them thrive.

Many school districts in New York are adding specially designed instruction for Multilingual Learner students, and certification in TESOL is required in order to teach in those programs. This 5-course program is designed to provide certified teachers and administrators with a solid background and expertise in serving the needs of Multilingual Learners.  

If the question “What do you want to major in?” makes you break into a cold sweat, you can breathe - we’re not going to ask you that dreaded question. Many high school seniors do not know what they want to do with the rest of their lives, and that’s okay. If this sounds like you, then consider coming to Mount Saint Mary College as an Undeclared student.

Students in the Mount’s pre-professional program work closely with a mentor on campus to use their studies to prepare for professional school as veterinarians.

If you want to create art that inspires, educates, and captivates audiences, then being a Graphic Design major will get you there!

Develop the necessary skills to design, build, and maintain dynamic web applications with both front-end and back-end web technologies.

Words are powerful. They tell stories, share information, and express who we are. As a Writing or Creative Writing student, you’ll focus on how to best write for different genres, subjects, and professional circumstances. More importantly, you’ll learn how to use your words to effect change and tell your story.
