Bishop Dunn Memorial School held its third annual Cupcake 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, September 26 on the campus of Mount Saint Mary College, raising more than $15,000.

Bishop Dunn is a Pre-K to eighth grade school in the Catholic tradition, located on the campus of Mount Saint Mary College.

The proceeds will be used to fund scholarships for Bishop Dunn students and to promote the Dominican Pillars of spirituality, community, service, and study, explained Nancy Benfer '03 MSEd '14, Bishop Dunn principal and Mount adjunct professor.

The race route took participants around the Mount campus, starting at the baseball field near Bishop Dunn. Races were held for both adults and children.

Mount students and employees, including some from the college's chapter of the Kappa Delta Pi honor society in Education, were among the volunteers at the event, which drew dozens of participants.
