This data is increasingly being captured and put to use as information to understand trends and make predictions in human behavior, society, and the environment. These understandings are crucial to our ability to make informed recommendations and decisions regarding our futures and that of society.

This interdisciplinary data science minor employs programming, statistical concepts, and machine learning to analyze intricate datasets and implement data-driven solutions for diverse real-world challenges.
A minor in Data Science pairs well with the statistical analyses taking place in the Mathematics or Business majors, or as a complement to the programming knowledge gained in Computer Science, but it can be declared by any major!
