Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management

The healthcare industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, and with so much of the nation’s economy related to this sector, executives are quickly recognizing the need for operational management of this field. That’s where Healthcare Management majors come in, business professionals who are trained and specialize in the specific business, financial, and operational needs of the healthcare industry.

Doctors and nurses take care of others, but they can’t do that without administrators helping behind the scenes. Let’s get you prepared for a profitable, fulfilling, and meaningful career that can make a real difference in the lives of others.

Why be a Healthcare Management major?

Here’s what makes the Mount’s Healthcare Management major unique:

  • Location, location, location: Being only an hour from New York City is just one of the many advantages to the Mount’s location: Healthcare Management majors at the Mount also benefit from the growing health care hub in the Hudson Valley region.
  • Two outstanding schools: The Healthcare Management major combines two of the Mount’s renowned schools - the School of Nursing and School of Business - to lend you their expertise and make you the best professional you can be.
  • Specialize your degree: The ability to choose a concentration in an in-demand niche like FinanceMarketing, or Sports Management allows you to pick your own path and sets you apart on job applications.
  • MBA Healthcare: Don’t stop with a bachelor’s degree! Combining the Healthcare Management major with our MBA in Healthcare will put you on the fast track to success in this industry and allow you to keep learning from the same professors you already know and love.

“(The Mount) helped me achieve my goals because they had the programs, people, and class sizes for the type of learner that I am. I never contemplated another school for each degree I obtained.”
