Discover the World Through the Humanities
From books to languages to music and theatre, the Division of Humanities is all about exploration. You’ll expand your mind through our English, Theology, and Philosophy courses, master communication through Writing programs, even discover other cultures and languages through Hispanic Studies. Plus, you'll be encouraged to take courses across the Division - some of our students even choose to add a second major or minor to gain a broader perspective and additional skills.
What makes this division most unique, however, is our approach to students. We don’t just see you as learners; we see you as fellow colleagues. So not only are we leading your classes, but we’re also creating with you, collaborating on research, and even participating in on-campus events together. We also pride ourselves on creating classroom spaces that are open and respectful, encouraging deep thought and frank discussions.
